Is there any way to post attachments, like a microsoft document or an mp3?

I don't think so, the only thing I can think of is to just post the URL to the site where it is stored.

I believe that attachments are banned by default to prevent illegal file sharing from going on. I agree with Gloria, just post the URL to another source on the internet.
