There are no formulas that work to set right the condition of our spiritual hearts, but there is a way to know Jesus Christ and begin a relationship with Him. John said in John 17: 3 that eternal life is to KNOW HIM. Eternal life is not praying one prayer or being baptized, nor is it being a member of a church. Many say that man is basically good, but the only part of us that is good is the part that is created in the image of God. That part is without life until it is redeemed and made alive, or quickened, by the life of God.

The Bible is the Word of God. The Scriptures of the Bible have a wonderful thread that run through them of supernatural imagery that no one or group of men and/or women could have put together. It is a lot like the human body. There are those that believe that the order and the workings of the body have just evolved over billions of years. Can nothing create and design something? It is the same with the Bible. It was written by many and put together by many, but only God could have designed the heart and spirit of it.

Jesus came from His place of glory and walked among us.
He was not religious; He was - and is - real.
He spoke the hard truth when necessary.
He sat and ate with those that the religious people of His day wouldn't go near.
He touched and healed the lepers without fear. He was fully God and fully man.
He voluntarily laid down His life and died, shedding His life-flow of blood for men and women that laughed and despised Him.
They laid Him in a tomb as His followers mourned His death.
They had hoped for an earthly, powerful King to deliver them.
But, soon, they would learn who that King really was.

Just as He said He would do, on the third day, He rose from that grave.
He stayed among them many days until He was taken up into heaven before the eyes of many who followed and believed in Him. On the day of Pentecost, just as He had promised, the Holy Spirit was poured out on those who where waiting in the Upper Room, and many were filled with the Spirit and spoke in tongues. The truth of the Savior of the world is the most widely known truth world wide of any, the Bible the most read book.

Still, many never step past the story or the religious experience to really know Him. I invite you today to seek His face. As with anyone that we have a relationship with, we must talk to Him and listen for Him to speak to you. He may speak in a small still voice. He may speak through another. He may speak in a dream, or in a vision of the night.

Here is the way that we can begin out life anew and be born again. He can - and will - tke our hearts of stone and turn them into a heart of flesh. We can each become and be a new creation in Christ Jesus. None of us can be good enough to earn eternal life. That is a false belief that man made up. It is not in the Bible. It is not our good or bad deeds that determine whether or not we will spend eternity with Him; it is our relationships with Him and with one another. If it were our deeds, then how good would we have to be, and where would we draw the line? Jesus said that many would stand before Him on that day and speak of all the great deeds that they did, and He will say, "Depart from me, you workers of iniuity! I never KNEW you."
Would you like to KNOW Him? Many know about Him, but knowing Him personally can be compared to nothing! Pray this prayer now, and begin the journey of your life!


Father, I thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit, to be born of a virgin, to walk among men, to die on the cross bleeding His life blood for me. I believe that He was buried and on the third day, but that He rose from the grave, walked again among men and ascended into heaven. Jesus, my Savior, You are now seated at the right hand of the Father, and I love You. I want to know You. Come and live on the inside of me. Take my life. I confess that You are Lord of me and of all. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that You are my God. Lord Jesus, lead me now, by Your Holy Spirit, and take control of the direction of my life. Please reveal Yourself to me! AMEN!


The Lord said that it was not good for Adam to be alone, so He took a rib from Adam and made Eve. This is not only talking about marriage, but of fellowship with others who believe in Him. Not every building that has the word "church"on the top of it is going to necessarily be where the Lord would have you fellowship. Some people have home meetings, others attend services in a building. Ask the Lord where He would desire to direct you. Is there someone in your community that you know and admire who seems to have something REAL in God that you have noticed? Call them and ask them to pray with you about fellowship.
If you don't have a Bible, find one. Begin to read the book of John in the New Testament, and ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you through the scriptures.
