signature?

i am trying to figure out how to do the signature.cant get it to work,any one out there know how to help?

About half way down the page you will see a block that reads
Signature:
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit.
Place some signature text in that block.
A little below that there is a preference titled always attach my signature. Make sure it is checked.
Then whenever you post or reply to a post the box titled Attach signature (singatures can be changed in profile) should be checked to get your signature included. The preference makes sure it is always checked for you.
