Hello,

I was watching my husband vacuum the basement floor. He had on reddish underwear and was vacuuming with his right hand. His left hand was some how in his pocket??? This took place in the basement of our home. There was a sense of humility or remorse.

Sounds like he is honestly trying to clean up after himself for something that was buried down in his life in the past. To me the removal of sin or the removal of old dust out of one's life is not a bad thing, it is a good thing. And the practice of just cleaning ourselves up, whether we do it through our own physical strength (right hand) and not in spiritual strength (left hand in pocket) while not ideal is a good start nonetheless. I would just pray for him, and not interfere or question him at this point. The sense of humility or remorse is the Holy Spirit of conviction working the issue in his heart. Hope this helps.
