sometimes if you wait to long in the reply you will loose the connection to the board underneath you. I have found this true for folks visiting by dialup more often, but it happens to me too with fast internet connections. The safest thing to do right before hitting the submit button is to hit CTRL-A to select all of your text, then hit CTRL-C to copy all of your text to the clipboard. Then hit the submit button. If you get the message, and hit the submit again button the post should post correctly. Does it? If it does not, you can start a new reply and then just hit CTRL-V to paste the text back into the new window and then try to submit again. Let me know if this works.
