I dreamt that my husband and i adopted a baby boy, but shortly afterwards i decided that i would rather have a baby girl, as i already had two boys.

Interesting dream.... Could be that you will have to make an important discision very soon. Don't be to quick at the first option as it may not be the one that you have been praying for. I think that your dream is telling you to wait.
