Getting Into Position

Taking a casual stroll through the crowds and past the various retail outlets, I walked upon a very thick group of people who were all idly standing around gazing up steadfastly as if they were in deep awe at something. Weaving silently through the crowd to gain a better view for myself, I saw two large spiral staircases that connected the lower and upper levels. Climbing these stairs were large amounts of younger adults going up and down between these two levels. All of a sudden, both of these stairs silently began to lift off the ground and spin in merry-go-round like circles. Instantly, oohs and ahhs spread through the crowds, and even I thought how much fun I'd be having if I were on these stairs with these young people. However, these oohs and ahhs quickly changed into shrieks of horrors as people were violently thrown overboard. These stairs that once seemed fun had now turned into a mortal adventure taking its YOUNG passengers captive. The shrieks or horror then turned into loud footsteps as these stairs came to a screeching halt causing people to run for their lives before this adventure restarted. Watching this scene and feeling its effects from close range, I noticed a wide set of rails right next to where the stairs had landed. With quick precision, i jumped on them and began to simply touch the heads of everyone I could, restoring calm to the frightened and life to those whose hearts had either failed them or the ride had simply proven to be too much for them to handle. Unfortunately there was a drawback to this method. Not only were there too many people for me to touch, they were causing a pandemic like atmosphere b/c it was uncertain how much longer the staircases would stay inactive. Seeing my own limited abilities, I felt a word of wisdom rise up in me as my eyes scanned the crowds for help. Setting sights on some lone security guards I instructed them to go through the crowds and find all of those who believed in GOD. I also told them to seek out and find any other 'miracle-workers' in the crowd. The main focus of these searches were to draw a core group of believers whom I could pull together through prayer causing a greater level of power to touch the crowds ith as well as dispersing miracle-working vessels through the crowds to touch the people.

VicaSpecialist...what comes to me is that RETAIL is SPIRALLING OUT OF CONTROL adn its the young who are being taken (financial) prisoners (debt?). Its all good fun when you are going UPMARKET (ie buying and spending to keep up wiht the JOnes's) but its on that very upward spending (staircase) trend that things spiral out of control...

those are my thoughts on the first half of the dream...I've taken a pretty literal look at the word plays in context...of course it may also have other symbolic meanings...

And that is a very good view, bc this definitely caters to one of the biggest ideals of young people which is image. Alot of us, are consumed from early years with having to fit the standards of what society shows us as being acceptable...my my my, we are intruded everyday with fitting into the Lust of the Eyes

LOL, ok. Actually i didn't realize how much time has passed. When i logged onto my page this morning (after a long absence) i saw the responses to my last posts and recommented. Since the time of this dream, i have been placed into youth ministry, and a job that caters to youth, and I see this very situation put into effect as we speak!

Yes...it is a huge shame that our cultures in the so called developed world have become so materialistic...having lived and worked in other parts of the world I would say that we have lost much ground...I do pray that you will have inspiration and wisdom as you seek to minister God's grace and wholeness to these young people (and their families).
