Anyone have ideas as to what things a cash register could symbolise?
In the dream I was working in a clothing store and trying to figure out how to work the cash register. The buttons on it had writing on them. I couldn't find a number for the manager to call and ask how to work it, but then after some time went by I somehow figured it out. Then afterwards I keep pulling up my pants as I cross the floor of the store.
-- I know the dream is about figuring something out or learning but I can't think what the cash register means and it seems to be key in the dream

To me the main message of the dream is tighten your belt, don't loose your pants, you will figure it out in time. To me the cash register could mean finances or a work/job situation.
