Dream
I dreamt that I went to this huge old house and it was dark but inside it Had government secrets of things to come, and I met a man who was also inside This house he had a newspaper of upcoming events. I knew I was to move there in This old dark house of mysteries hidden in the darkness about our government. So I told the man I needed to go home and sell everything and that I moved into This old dark house. I also had these kittens to take care of their eyes were Not open yet and I tried to feed them and I drowned them so I had to resuscitate Them and bring them back to life I did the best I could but I kept making Mistakes. Then I go to the Airport to fly home to see my things and in this
Airport was my cousins who were at the gate when I came in and they said hello And then I needed a drink before my plan was to take off and this guy who was Selling the drinks took most of my money and gave a bunch of pennies back as Change I was like this robed me and I did not have much money. Then I finally Get on the plan to head home to sell everything to move Into the house of secrets and mysteries that were in hidden in the dark house.

Steadyone...I am picking up "transitional disquiet" as i read your dreams...culture shock/especially reverse culture shock produces heightened emotional turbulence and perceptual acuity...ie you notice things you didn't notice before in your own culture and in others.
I have picked up that you have been in mission-related work in various countries...are you back in the USA (and is this your "home base")?
As someone not from the USA I am picking up a huge amount of anxiety on this board about the current government, the healthcare reform..fear about opening the door to a tyrannical form of socialism etc etc. for the most part I keep my mouth shut as I realise that I come from such a different perspective and yet share the same faith...
Your dream may reveal that you feel you will be required to give yourself wholeheartedly and completely to pursuing the uncovering of the secrets of the future by selling everything to move into the "dark house of secrets".
I think a dark house could be both negative and positive...negative in the sense that dark shadowy-ness in dreams sometimes reveals the work of the enemy or the flesh ie it may not be God's way. It could be positive in the sense that dark can be symbolic of hidden...and we know that scripture teaches us that there are many mysteries:
Proverbs 25:2
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.
On the one hand this could be in a sense a legitimate calling to pursue the "uncovering of injustices" mandate that as Christians I believe we most certainly have but on the other hand scripture enjoins us to pray for our leaders earnestly....I am a little uneasy when I come across what amounts to "Christian witchcraft intercession" against governments with different political leanings...all governments fall short and need our faithful prayers. In my experience, some Christians seem to swallow the lies and secrets of certain governments more easily just because they like the cover story better (ie the supposed political agenda)...mmmmmmm...not in any way saying this is you...just ruminating about our primary role as christians as I understand it...
Nonetheless, Paul reminds us that he wished above all that the Corinthians would be a prophetic people (1 Corinthians 14:5) so to desire to be truly prophetic in word and life and deed will most certainly lead us to uncover the foul play, the injustice and the greed that we encounter in ourselves, our churches and our government structures...In other words there are many "dark houses of secrets"...
I realise I have not given an interp per say but just some things which well up in me to share really...
The kittens and the sense of making mistakes trying to care for them may reflect your feeling of failure in the "small matters" as per the faithful servant in matthew 25- "well done you have been faithful in the small things now I will entrust you with more". I don't think Abba sees you as unfaithful in the small things and he has already entrusted you with more.
The paying over the odds for the drink and feeling robbed...may reflect the injustice you have suffered at the hands of the worldly...
praying for His peace to settle over you as you continue to seek HIs ways

If you do not mind me asking where are you from?
I am a missionary and have taught mission school in Africa, Russia, and have taken teams into the Middle East. I have a heart for the nations and my desire is to learn their culture and minister to them from their cultures point of view. I also am a seer and see into Governments and their nations strongholds let alone mine in the U.S.
I am also a dream and the Lord speaks to me in dreams about the Government and the other nations Government. I am a women who sees things for what they are and seek Gods heart in what He is doing through what He reveals and I hate injustice with a capital J. I ma a women of Justice and like to she God move with Justice against the unjust.
I desire to prophesy over nations and Governments Gods heart. He has the ultimate plan for each nation and culture no matter what corruption is there as He is the one who fashioned them and created them in His image and the nations/ countries has the Lords expression and His desire is to see their mandate full-filled through the expression He has placed on the. My desire is partner with Him to call it forth in their Government and their nation
So I am very much into government Issues as the Lord reveals to me what is about to come upon a nation or government or my own Government. I have to be honest some times the weight of it is to much to see into the future and only by Gods grace am I able to stand under the weight of it. I can go to a ministry and God will reveal this is going to happen over here if this does not change and this will take place if this does not get repented. I have to be honest some times I tell the Lord I do not want to the gift it is to much and to hard to carry. He goes all right but then He comes back and goes are you ready yet to pick up this mantle, and He will wait if I am not then He will come back and go, now are you ready.lol He is so funny I just love Him so much.
So there is a bit of insight my beloved sister in Christ.

Good to hear a bit more about you....always difficult understanding the meaning of a dream when you don't know the position/level of the dreamer on their walk i find! Thanks for the fill in!
I was in fact just doing some work at my desk on a module my husband and I are trying to put together for an MA missions program...its a module we fell burdened to start on justice issues in mission...the i came back to tehillah and saw your response...great grace releases perfect justice as things are brought into order and alignment with the music of love.
HUbs and I worked mission related ministry in South america and in fact both grew up there but we're based in UK now...teaching mission related stuff...our special focus are the justice issues.

It is interesting you are from South Africa and I may end up back there for missions work the Lord willing as I am dealing with some physical issues right now. I ma waiting for a test that will tell me if I have cancer. So am praying into total positive report.
