cotton mouth

I had a dream that my daughter and I were at a local sporting event. We found our seat in the bleachers and started to watch the game. As I sa there I felt what I thought was a piece of hair in my mouth. I proceeded to pull out the hair but was cotton. I kept reaching in my mouth pulling out pieces of cotton. I placed all of the cotton next to me that I took out and there was a huge pile.

The verb cotton means to take a liking to, to come to understand....to agree with. Perhaps something (some teaching perhaps) which you have been fed which you either do not agree with or do not understand. Could be either positive or negative. What did you sense/feel about it IN the dream?
