Civil war dream

Post by bjcollin »

I had a dream last night that was intense. I dreamed that I was walking in a big city when a civil war broke out here in America. There was a situation where it was announced that one candidate was disqualified from running so their name was removed from the ballot which caused an anger to rise up in the people of both sides. Everyone started fighting and suiting up for war and choosing sides and there were running gun battles breaking out all over in each city. I was running and trying to avoid both sides and taking cover and getting shot at and even got shot in the arm when I woke up from the dream. There were no names given and no candidates shown in the dream.

Hope it isn't literal, but wouldn't be surprised. I've never seen such a mess as our nation is in right now. I have felt that there are spiritual forces at work to divide and conquer us from within because of our relationship to Israel and strong Christian presence among the nations. I've heard so many theories and prophelies I don't know what to believe. Just trusting the Lord that He will help us through it all. Can't help but feel He must be at the doors.

Hi Brian, not an interp exactly, but this dream just reminds me of what i witnessed for years in Christian circles.

I just wanted to follow Jesus and be with those that wanted the same, but everytime I'd end up somewhere is was like a civil war. I was like, that's not what i came here for. I love them people and not looking to attack them. i just want to follow Jesus.

Anyway, prior to it God did show me in a dream it would be his doing, taking me to these different places, and shortly after it was confirmed in prophesy. And it wasn't like i felt the Holy Spirit's power leading me. It was just grievances i had and would leave because i just felt it was time to move on. It would look better elsewhere as in a place to grow in, but these places were intent on taking down the other side.

So i was like, I'm not looking to take down the other side. i just want to follow Jesus.

Anyway, i eventually checked out and went at it alone with the Lord and close family ties.

It's like they don't realize they all on the same playing field and need to go higher. Not that I'm perfect myself, just saying.

Anyway. Think I'm done for tonight. God bless and thank you!
