Snake in the water...almost got bit

My son Nick had this dream yesterday...

I was in the water and this snake was in there and I grabbed it near the neck and it almost bit me...there was somebody else there too but don't know who he is....cannot remember any other details...

This dream might be a temptation that your son overcomes... advise him to watch out for it and be prepared to stand in faith and against temptations that may come.

Snake [the enemy] in the water [spirituality] approaches him... grabbing it by the neck is binding... the neck can be symbolic of binding or being bound [yoke] and doing this to the enemy in this dream appears to be removing his freedom and power.

The enemy will resist [try to bite and/or cause fear] but rebuke him and he will flee.

I pray that God gives Nick strength and wisdom to see it and recognize it.

Sounds like both warning and encouragement.

Wondering if Nick is faced with a situation in which it seems he is helpless (?) Appearances are not always what they seem...

Thanks all, Nick has a friend who is giving him alot of drama and I wonder if it is related to this, he seems to be needing some extra attention these days, his friend is not himself lately and Nick has been handling it pretty well. Thanks for the insights...

Hi Dance,

It certainly could be! God is good! It's great that the dream prepared him before things come... of course keep the friend in prayer also and as he saw in the dream, he will overcome whatever comes at him -- without getting bitten.
