balance scales can point to judgement as in Daniel 5:27. but in this case to me the dream shows that two things that may look equally similar or equally sweet are not really the same and they are not really equal. Hope this helps.

Isn't there a sugar called "Equal" ?
Off balance. Does someone you know have sugar diebetes, or do you have a sugar imbalance?

Equal weights and measures are to be used.
