This is most likely a warning dream for you. I believe it's a 'heads up' that the devil plans to attack.

That is what I thought you would say. The dream speak of the attack to put you in fear or to paralyzed you due to viewing the attack through fleshy or natural eyes or thinking. But why? The enemy is blind to the fact that when Christians are under pressure, we position ourselves closer to God. God is creating that heart in you through your circumstances. The dream speak of the scary man as if it is the enemy. Your parents home is a place of safety; however, the enemy steps up the game by changing the rules of the game by aggressively coming through the door (past what seemed safe before or worked before).

NOte: as you are thinking about how you could hurt the enemy...you woke up. The man attack is not what he is preparing you for..or you would have been given the answer....it is implying....spiritual strategy before the attack gets that far. Like you said...normally the dream ends with you speaking in tongues and command it to leave.

I sense that your warfare stategy is going to change for you. When the enemy changes the rules....God prepares us.

Fear conquered in the dream....most likely because...of looking into his eye...your eyes were taken off of WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST. By You taking an aggressive STAND verses commanding after you feel overwhelming aggressiveness...already puts the enemy on the loosing end. David was standing against Goliath because he felt how dare they come against God. You need to see that you are the TEMPLE (THE DWELLING PLACE) OF GOD so you and HIM are ONE! Imagine....how dare the enemy come against the God who created and controls him! Inside of you...God WEARS you therefore lifting you to a higher position. This is a different dimension then most christians live.

Jesus said, If you see me...you see the Father. I say to you, If the enemy sees you...he sees the Father. Rest in that and applying that to all areas of your life and circumstance.

This is what came to me when I read your dream post. I pray it changes your view of His love for you. By the renewing of your mind, You will step into that higher level...when you are weak...He is strong. He is strong because You and He are one. Believe that This is the gift he gave to you when he came to dwell inside of you...that is more than just tongues...it is letting your mind be renewed that you are the temple he dwells in now. He said, "I will never leave you or foresake you". If God be for you, WHO could be against you?
