I see stairs meaning ascension, or climbing....or even to go to.....

Ps 24:3 - Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?

Deuteronomy 30:11 "For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' 14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

Has The Lord been dealing with you about coming closer to Him,
in worship or prayer......ascending in the Spirit? Which in a sense is stairs.

I'm not sure in what context the word was given but could represent a need to humble ones self.

...perhaps a desire to want to get to the bottom of something fast? Like seeking to understand the foundational issue or the source of the problem...

On another tack could represent an urgent desire to apply something you have learned in practice...

just what came to my mind Lillian...

Thanks RevK, TruthSeeker & Charlie,

I only remember the contents of the latest dream, but I do remember having several dreams at different times doing this same thing.

It was something I used to do when I was a child as well, IRL.
And the stairs in the dream were always, the ones in the apartment building my grandmother lived in, in NYC. When I was little, sometimes the elevator would get stuck in the basement or held between floors for someone offloading groceries, for instance. My grandmother lived on the 5th floor, so when the elevator wouldn't come right away, we would run down the stairs 2-3 at a time.

IN the dream that is what I was doing and it was always fun and that's the feeling I was getting in the dream as well, only instead of 2-3 stairs I jumped the whole landing, which probably had 10-12 stairs per landing.

IN this last dream, my family was waiting for me in the outer lobby, but the inner lobby was a hotel lobby, which I just walked through.

Charlie's reply seems to fit and in some situations, one fits and in others, the other fits.

Makes total sense, thanks!

Much love to you guys.

Hi Lillian and others:

I'm wondering if you've been facing some things have been "taking you down."

I don't think of going down as necessarily bad but more or less challenges to make us stronger.

Sensitive sheep can be easily hurt. And there is a tendency with those hurts to take things to heart, even if they are erroneous (been there, done that).

Soft hearts especially need to remember to keep their breastplates of righteousness on and that shield of faith out there to extinguish the firy darts of the evil one.

(I used to jump stairs like that too when I was a kid, at my childhood home though. I think a lot of kids do. A NY apartment though would have lots of stairs. I wonder if your life now is somehow similar to whatever you were experiencing back at that time of your life when you were jumping down or up stairs at your grandmother's building).

Take care,
Peggy O.

Hi Peggy!

Well I Suppose. Those times for me, that I remember were like carefree and fun. I loved going over to my grandmother's, it was not something we did often. And jumping down the stairs was soooo much fun.

At this time in my life, I'm learning how to rest in the Lord and His word.

Taking no thought of what I will eat or drink or wear, knowing that my Father will provide....Having a good time in the Holy Ghost.
He's not a baby in a manger anymore! He's not a broken man on a cross! He didn't stay in the grave and He's not staying in heaven forever!.....He's alive!....People get ready Jesus is coming!
