My husband and I are pulling into the parking lot of a church that we were going to go to. As we approach it I notice that there aren't any cars in the lot..I said to my husband, "It doesn't look like they are having service" He said to me, "Pull around by the door and lets look". So we did.
As we approached the door I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It seemed that there had been a fire and it burned the whole inside of the building..they had boards covering the windows and doors and the church was no longer able to function or be of service. I felt so bad..

In this dream you again appear to be missing some information regarding the cause and such of the fire.
It appears that you all are noticing that "church" as you all may know it or have visited it, has been burned from within and attendance is not there. Nothing of true Spiritual value will be lost in a fire. We don't have insights as to whether this was foul play, or the Lord's doing or what. Either way the Lord can and does use these things. All things work together for good to those that love Him and are called according to his purposes.
Appears it is closed for ministry. Now this is the part that stands out to me too. Your grief. As I was replying to your other dream regarding the leaky roof something I shared in another online ministry came to mind. It was how God can reveal the hearts of men (and of course his Heart) but I wonder how willing He is at doing that if we ourselves are not connected to his Heart. If we are not we can run with it the wrong way. So yes, He can reveal the hearts of men / women (and his Heart) and the heart of a matter.
Your grief I feel puts you in a wonderful position for intercession and seeking his Heart further on it. I don't think you would be much grieved if you didn't care at that deeper level. Sometimes we pray or interceed without that deeper connection and what may be more called for is to ask the Lord to connect us more deeply as He sees fit. He responds to our heart's / spirit's cry.
Anyway, as I said, you seem to be in a favorable position to go deeper with Him on the matter to discover and be connected with his Heart on it. And you may be already in your grief, but feeling more can be attained there.
And you and hubby moving forward to investigate rather than just not attending also to me puts you all in a favorable position to be of use there in some way.
